This is 'Keep-it-short Thursday', so let me present the simplest trick I know for grounding. There is only one step to this technique, it takes just a moment of your attention and you can do it anywhere and as often as you like. The only proviso for this technique to work is:
You need to have your feet on the ground.
Well, duh, some might say, but honestly, if you want to be grounded be sure your feet are actually on the ground. To start with, practice it while you are walking.
To practice, all you need do is the following:
Put you attention on the arch of each foot while it is on the ground.
That's it. Do it just for a moment in the same way you might flick your eyes about as you move. If you try and hold your attention there it can become an effort; that's counter productive. Do it just for a moment and do it often, as often as you think.
It'll become quickly easier with familiarity.
You will also very soon experience a pleasant sensation in your feet which is very soothing.
Enjoy!
ps: This is not my own invention, it was taught to me by a friend who trained in The Metamorphic.
